Cougar

The Cougar is a chair built for rehabilitation with comfort provided as standard for use by children, teenagers and adults of all ages for both indoor and outdoor use

With its many adjustment possibilities and wide range of accessories, the Cougar will provide the user with exceptional support and comfort. Cougar can be fitted with a choice of back support and cushions from R82 or may be fitted with cushions from other manufacturers.

The Cougar complies with ISO 7176-19, transporting users in motor vehicles at a max load/user weight of 120 kg/264 lbs. The Cougar has been tested and approved with a hip belt and head support, both from R82.

The Cougar has selfcentering centre of gravity making it a stable comfortable chair. The tilt in space function provides the possibility to give the user a change of position and reduce pressure in the seating area

Cougar can be fitted with a wooden board back or the strap back illustrated. Both backs are prepared for velcro fit cushion systems.

The seat to floor height is adjustable. Adjust the height on the back of the chair and the angle of the front wheels will remain in the correct position

The Cougar is measured with the following wheel combination, placed in the standard wheel position: 22” rear wheel and 6” front wheel. The Cougar is measured with the seat in horizontal and back in vertical position. We supply various types of leg rests and cushions, which is why the weight is listed without. Different settings may result in another set of measurements.
